Chapter 6

70's

A decade which is influenced by the music and movements of youth having the adoption of many different options. The folklore is mixed with the retro, kitsch, the glitter and the punk. The hippies who protest about love and peace make famous the Meditation. In 1974 the famous Studio 54' is becoming the most popular event of the decade in New York. This decade is the era of disco, stretch and lycra. Gloria Vanderbilt makes popular the tight stretch jeans. In 1977 the punk movement in Britain brings leather, studs, safety pins and clothes made by vinyl.

I hope you do not consider this as spam. I am visiting blogs about fashion today because I have a guest blogger on my site today who wrote about fashion and photography. I was hoping you could visit and leave a comment for her. No matter who guest posts for me, I always try to generate extra traffic to their post. She wrote two versions; German and English. For the German version click here, http://morningerection.wordpress.com/2012/02/25/gast-blogger-mai-mergili/. Thank you but if you consider this an intrusion into your blog, I apologize.
